Monday, April 22nd, 2019, starting with 10:30 a.m., at the Conference Room at the headquarters of the Department of History-Archeology (New department) from Strada Madona Dudu nr. 14, will be organized the Launch Conference of the project “New destinations in cross-border tourism”, project code e-MS ROBG-471.
The project “New destinations in cross-border tourism” is co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund under the Interreg V-A Romania-Bulgaria Program, Priority Axis 2 – A green region, Specific objective: 2.1 Improving the sustainable use of natural heritage and resources and cultural heritage.
The total budget of the project is 1,364,438.31 EUR, of which 1,159,772.56 EUR is the European Union funding through the European Regional Development Fund, 13% of the national budget and 2% of the local budget.
Of the total eligible value of the project, Oltenia Museum Craiova has the amount of 459,451.39 EUR.
The general objective of the project is to promote cooperation between institutions and people through the use of cultural and natural resources, in a sustainable tourist way, in Dolj – Montana cross-border region.
The partners in this project are: Municipality of Varshets, Montana (Leader) and Oltenia Museum Craiova.
